Smart watch wireless charger: single and duo builds
Watch charging is not Qi. Each watch family uses its own method, so a watch charger is really a module choice, and the module decides which models the box can list.
Builds in this line (2)
One puck or two devices
A travel puck and a bedside stand, built on the same module family.
The two forms
The module is shared. The stand, the cable and the box are not.
| Form | Charges | Watch families | Best channel | Main risk |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Single puck | One watch | Module specific to one family | Travel, accessory aisle | A box that lists a family the module does not serve |
| Duo stand | A watch and a phone | Module specific, plus a Qi2 phone coil | Bedside, home office | Height and angle that miss the nightstand |
Never print a list of watch brands on a box unless the module inside serves each one. A multi-brand claim is the fastest route to a one-star review in this category.
A watch is not a Qi device
Phones and earbuds charge on Qi. Watches do not: each family uses a magnetic puck with its own coil geometry and its own communication, and a puck built for one family will not charge another. That is why watch chargers are sold by family, and why a universal claim is a red flag.
A station can carry more than one module, and a duo can pair a watch module with a Qi2 phone coil. What it cannot do is serve every watch with one puck.

What to fix before tooling
The module choice reaches further than the charger.
- Which families: one, or several with separate modules in the same stand.
- Which models: a family list is not a model list. Confirm the newest watch in each family.
- Cable and plug: a fixed cable saves a connector and dates the product when the plug changes.
- Box copy: the compatibility line is part of the certification file, not a marketing afterthought.
Ask for a charging test on the newest watch of each family listed, not on a model from two generations ago.
Before the order
Three details that decide whether the product works on the buyer's wrist.
- Model list: named models per family, tested, not a brand list.
- Cable: fixed or detachable, length, and the plug type for the market.
- Stand: the angle a watch sits at, and whether the band can stay on.

Send the device list, get a written configuration.
Phone models, quantities and destination market is enough. The reply is a build, a specification sheet and the certificate list for each line item.
