3 in 1 wireless charger: foldable and desktop stations
One station for a phone, a watch and an earbuds case. The phone coil is Qi2; the watch is a different protocol with its own module, and that module is where the cost sits.

Foldable or desktop
Same three devices, different hinge and a different retail story.
The two forms
Travel and desk are different products with the same electrical design.
| Form | Folds | Footprint | Best channel | Watch out |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Foldable | Yes, flat for a bag | Small when folded, stand when open | Travel retail, online, gifts | Hinge wear, and a stand that tips on a soft surface |
| Desktop | No, fixed stand | One nightstand footprint | Home, office, hotel | Watch module height, and cable routing |
Both forms use the same phone coil and the same watch module family. The difference is the housing, the hinge and the packing, so a brand can carry one electrical design across two price points.
Three devices, three protocols
A 3 in 1 station is not one charger with three coils. The phone runs Qi2 and expects the magnet ring. The earbuds case runs baseline Qi at low power. The watch does not use Qi at all: each watch family has its own charging method, so the station carries a watch module built for the models it lists.
That is why a 3 in 1 costs more than three separate pads would suggest, and why the watch module decides the price tier. It is also why a station that lists Apple Watch and a station that lists Galaxy Watch are different bills of material.

What decides the order
Four questions a 3 in 1 programme should answer before tooling.
- Which watch family: Apple, Galaxy, Pixel, Huawei or Fitbit. The module is not interchangeable.
- Where it sells: a foldable belongs in a travel or gift channel, a desktop stand in home and office.
- Which phone profile: 15W Qi2 today, 25W only if the station is a premium product and the thermal budget allows it.
- What is in the box: adapter or no adapter changes the certification scope, the carton and the price.
A 3 in 1 sells on the desk, not on the specification sheet. Ask for a sample on a real nightstand before approving a retail packshot.
Before the order
Three things that decide whether the station feels like a 30 dollar product or a 90 dollar one.
- Watch module: named by family and model, not by brand logo.
- Hinge or stand: rated for the angles it will actually hold.
- Adapter: quoted with the station, or the buyer supplies one and owns the support call.

Phone models, quantities and destination market is enough. The reply is a build, a specification sheet and the certificate list for each line item.
